BUDGET WORK SESSION
January 9, 2014
Jim Heald, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 6:45 pm. Jim Heald, Raymond Tarbell, and Tim Martin, Select Board members, met with David Johnson, Town Treasurer, to prepare a FY 2015 budget. Also present were Susan Covalla, Rhonda Rivers and Don Richardson.
1. The Board reviewed a line item worksheet prepared by David Johnson showing the FY12-13 budget and actuals and the FY13-14 budget, and developed a proposed budget for FY14-15.
2. A decision on carryover to a General Fund revenue item was deferred.
3. Social Service requests were reviewed.
4. Jim Heald presented an email he had received following the School Board meeting last night, which outlined a proposal for purchase of the 5.6 acres for the proposed new garage. There was no further discussion on the email.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:36 pm.
