Chicken processing here at the farm begins early Wednesday mornings. And that means it is also the day for YOU to save $$$ on unbagged, fresh chicken!
Purchase unbagged fresh chickens for $4.00/lb. (regularly $4.50/lb). Weights of the chickens range from 4lbs - 5 1/2lbs. Get them fresh and cut them up into pieces to fit your meal plans, or roast them whole for a super delicious dinner. We will provide you with a 'how to cut up a chicken' cheat sheet if you so desire!
Details: This special runs every Wednesday at the farm stand between 12noon & 2pm.Chickens are in our chill tank and are unbagged - you will need to bring your own bag (a recycled plastic shopping bag works great) or a cooler. Chickens will be bagged and priced at their regular price after 2pm.
If you'd like to take advantage of this special, but can't make it by 2pm, please let us knowhow many chickens you'd like, and we'll set them aside for you. However, you must pick them up no later than 6pm that day.
