April Youth Activities at the Fletcher Memorial Library

Weekly Preschool and Toddler Story Time 


Every Wednesday from 10:30-11:30am.
 Each week features a theme, music stories and a craft.
NO STORY TIME ON 3/29/15

Read With Oreo
Thursday April 9, 2015
School age students are invited to come to the library and read with Oreo the reading dog. Oreo will be here from 3:00-4:00pm the second Thursday of every month.

Grades 2-6
Space in limited to 8 participants: Thursday April 30th
 3:00-4:00pm

 Crafty Tuesdays  Grades K-6 3:00-4:00pm

April 7th- Wash Cloth Bunnies – Learn how to turn an ordinary washcloth into an adorable bunny!
April 14th – Spring Chicks- Make a flock of cute Spring chicks using lots of tissue paper, feathers, glue and your imagination
April 21th- No formal Crafty Tuesday due to school vacation, but there will be a special Earth Day drop-in craft set up all week.
April 28st- No crafts this week- Librarian is at a conference  




School Vacation Family Movie Matinee
“Night at the Museum 3- Secret of the Tomb” (PG) All Ages Welcome
Thursday April 23rd 1:00-3:00 pm
Refreshments will be served


Special School Vacation Afternoon Story and Play Time
Monday April 20th 1:00-2:30pm
Ages 3 and up 

During this special afternoon edition of Story Time, we will read some of the newest picture book arrivals to the Youth library, have a quick snack and then the playroom will be open  for free play time.


Young Adult Craft Night
Grades 7 and up
Monday April 13th  
5:00-6:30pm
No Sew Tee-Shirt Tote Bags
Bring an old tee-shirt or two and learn how to turn it from drab to fab in a few simple steps. *Tee-shirts will not be provided-Please remember to bring some from home.
