This newsletter is for parents and students currently participating in Music-COMP. Feel free to share and send friends and relatives to our website for much more information and audio recordings.

OPUS 30 -Mentors select works for performance next weekend.

Due date is Thursday, March 26th by midnightfor scores to be completed so they may be viewed by mentors to select those compositions that will work best in live performance. 
  • Take a moment now and review your student's work. Have them show you the discussion they've had with their online mentor.
  • Review the Profile under Users and update if needed.
  • Review the Full Description to ensure it accurately describes the work that's submitted.
 
Over 110 compositions from students in grades 3-12 are currently being mentored by our twelve professional mentors. The concert on Wednesday, April 29th will be at the Chandler Music Center in Randolph at 6:30 pm. Rehearsals begin at noon. More information including up coming due dates for scores and other information available at our website. Look under Performances.

 Music-COMP organizes Regional Friends of Music-COMP
The Board of Directors has set up Regional Friends of Music-COMP to gather more local fund raising and publicity. The board considers local support essential to  Music-COMP 's future. Join with us now to ensure funding for Opus 30 and the online mentoring for this spring - and for the years to come.
