School age students are invited to come to the library and read with Oreo the reading dog. Oreo will be here from 3:00-4:00pm the second Thursday of every month.

May 5th- Mother’s Day Gift- this week will be devoted to making a gift for your mom or another special person in your life. It might be your grandmom, aunt, cousin, big sister, teacher, ect.
May 12th- Perler Bead Fun Part 2- Back by popular demand, another afternoon of fun creating art by fusing together colorful plastic beads. Come see what the fuss is all about!
May 19th- Wiggly Fish- Using paper cups and other materials we’ll create some cute moveable fishy friends.
26th- Fairy Houses- Today we will venture outside to build some special homes that hopefully will encurage Fairies to call the library grounds home.. Using natural materials we will create cozy spaces for our new friends. Use our materials or bring some from home (ie. Sticks, pinecones, smal rocks, moss, leave, pine needles, bark, etc.)
PBS Kids Screening of “Peg + Cat”

Most appropriate for ages 3-6
The FM Youth Library is very pleased to announce our new partnership with VT PBS. Through this new program Vt PBS will provide us with brand new episodes of popular educational children’s shows- before they are broadcast nationally. For our first offerning, children will be treated to an episode of “Peg + Cat” , a program that strives to foster an interest in math in young learners.
